BBCs new lesbian drama was only given 6 episodes to make a lasting impression its first season, and after the disappointments that were the last few seasons of the L-Word and the first season of The “Real” L-Word -  I sat down to watch feeling a bit of apprehension mixed in with the expectation that I probably wouldn’t make it past episode one.

Two hours later I was madly in love and feeling panicky over the lack of remaining episodes. <3

Written by the lovely and more than capable Harriet Braun and Starring Ruta Gedmintas, Laura Fraser, Fiona Button, and  Heather Peace (all insanely talented actresses who show amazing care for the characters they portray) – so far (tedious love triangle aside)  Lip Service is the epitome of many a queer girls television wet dream and you absolutely MUST watch it if you haven’t already.
